"Due to our increasing order volume and the major projects we have taken on, we needed a crane with a higher lifting capacity. As space is often limited in industrial plants, the choice fell on Liebherr's powerful yet compact and manoeuvrable 4-axle crane. Liebherr's innovative RemoteDrive system allows the chassis to be moved by remote control from outside the cab – a major advantage on these construction sites. Pınarbaşı will use the new LTM 1120-4.2 primarily in industrial plants, for the assembly and dismantling of factories, and in heavy industry projects.
LTM 1120-4.2 – There’s nothing more on 4!
The concept behind the LTM 1120-4.2 is maximum performance on four axles, hence its slogan "There's nothing more on 4!". At 66 metres, it has one of the longest telescopic booms in its crane class and offers extremely high lifting capacities in steep boom positions. This increases flexibility and saves transport costs, as the LTM 1120-4.2 can be used in applications where 5-axle mobile cranes would otherwise be required. The variable VarioBase® support system and the adjustable VarioBallast® ballast radius are proven Liebherr technologies that open up extended application possibilities, particularly in confined environments.
The LTM 1120-4.2 is equipped with the modern LICCON3 control system and features the new Liebherr crane design. It also has the oil-cooled TraXon DynamicPerform starting clutch and new driver assistance systems to increase driving safety on the road.
