Trades AssistantPerth

The Trades Assistant - Workshop will be responsible for assisting qualified Trades People deliver safe, efficient and compliant repair, maintenance and component replacement services to the Division’s customer base.

Responsibilities

• Assisting qualified Trades people, including but not limited to:
• Using basic hand and power tools
• Assembly / disassembly of parts and components
• Strip, clean and assess parts and components
• Basic administrative tasks
• Operate plant and mobile equipment
• Drop off and collection of components
• Maintain a very high standard of housekeeping at all times

Competencies

• Ability to operate lifting equipment
• High Risk Licence LF, DG (essential)
• Previous mining industry experience
• Literacy and numeracy skills
• Experience in using hand tools
• Good customer service skills
• Able to work independently and have a demonstrated commitment to quality
• Current drivers licence
