Trades AssistantPerth
The Trades Assistant - Workshop will be responsible for assisting qualified Trades People deliver safe, efficient and compliant repair, maintenance and component replacement services to the Division’s customer base.
Responsibilities
- Assisting qualified Trades people, including but not limited to:
- Using basic hand and power tools
- Assembly / disassembly of parts and components
- Strip, clean and assess parts and components
- Basic administrative tasks
- Operate plant and mobile equipment
- Drop off and collection of components
- Maintain a very high standard of housekeeping at all times
Competencies
- Ability to operate lifting equipment
- High Risk Licence LF, DG (essential)
- Previous mining industry experience
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience in using hand tools
- Good customer service skills
- Able to work independently and have a demonstrated commitment to quality
- Current drivers licence
