Las Vegas, the dazzling metropolis of Nevada, once again hosted North America's largest construction trade fair this year: from March 14 to 18, 2023, Liebherr presented numerous innovations as well as further developed products and technologies from its extensive range of construction equipment and components at Conexpo. Visitors were able to experience the approximately 30 Liebherr exhibits live on an impressive booth area of 60,400 ft² (5,600 m²).

Liebherr augmente la durée de vie totale de ses câbles en fibres de 14 à 16 ans, leur durée d’utilisation effective peut atteindre 12 ans. Ces conclusions s’appuient sur des essais de vieillissement menés sur plusieurs années sur des bancs d’essai et sur des analyses de câbles utilisés sur le terrain. Cette règle s’applique automatiquement à tous les câbles, qu’ils soient neufs ou déjà en service.

At the Holcim cement plant in Dotternhausen, a Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane from Wiesbauer GmbH & Co. KG mastered a challenging installation lift: two pipes, each weighing 33 tonnes, had to be hoisted into a new flue gas cleaning plant between existing pipes.

Permit-free from south to north: new Liebherr LTM 1055-3.3 mobile crane for Schlamann-Autokrane GmbH
The LTM 1055-3.3 is the second of four new Liebherr mobile cranes ordered by Schlamann-Autokrane GmbH this year. The new 55-tonne crane is the lightest 3-axle all-terrain crane on the market: it travelled from the Liebherr plant in Ehingen, Upper Swabia, to Nienburg in Lower Saxony without the need for complex authorisation procedures.
