Absolute Crane, LLC, a US crane rental company, has taken delivery of their first Liebherr crane, a 190 US ton LTM 1160-5.2.
The LTM 1160-5.2 offers versatility on and off the job with VarioBase operation and a hydraulically offset swing away jib for infinitely variable adjustments between 0 and 40 degrees. It features a 62 meter (203 ft) telescopic boom and a vehicle width of 2.75 meters (9 ft) that allows for easier operation on public roads and maneuverability on confined job sites.
Chad Shoemaker, owner of Absolute Crane, LLC, said: “We pride ourselves on our strong customer service and have now partnered with the industry leader, with a reputation for quality and support, to help our customers.”
Absolute Crane, LLC was established in 2006 by Chad and Tiffanee Shoemaker. The company is headquartered in Platte City, MO and operates throughout the region from Kansas City to the border of Iowa.

Permit-free from south to north: new Liebherr LTM 1055-3.3 mobile crane for Schlamann-Autokrane GmbH
The LTM 1055-3.3 is the second of four new Liebherr mobile cranes ordered by Schlamann-Autokrane GmbH this year. The new 55-tonne crane is the lightest 3-axle all-terrain crane on the market: it travelled from the Liebherr plant in Ehingen, Upper Swabia, to Nienburg in Lower Saxony without the need for complex authorisation procedures.
