  • Exhibits from Liebherr’s product ranges of, tower cranes, mobile cranes and wheel loaders
  • Equipment on display represents tailor made solutions for the construction industry of the Indian market
  • Construction equipment at outdoor area No. 431

Latest technology, new products and tailor made solutions for the construction industry of the Indian market are the focus of the Liebherr showcase at Bauma Conexpo India 2016. The trade fair is held from December 12-15, 2016 at the HUDA Ground, Gurgaon / Delhi. At the forth edition of this "International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines and Construction Vehicles", the Liebherr Group presents wheel loaders as well as mobile and tower cranes at the outdoor area Nr. 431.

Flat-top Crane NC-B 6-62

As a world premiere, Liebherr showcases a series of top-slewing tower cranes in a flat-top design: The new NC-B cranes. The development of the NC-B series was a specific response to the requirements in congested urban areas of emerging countries. With the first two models of the new series, a broad range of construction projects can already be covered in such environments. The nine-tonne model is particularly suitable for lifting heavy finished parts – for example during the construction of shopping centres, production facilities or car parks. The six-tonne crane NC-B 6-62 is better suited for inner city skyscraper construction, where the work is performed with lower weights but at a massive hook height.

The naming of the NC-B cranes indicates the maximum load bearing capacity and the maximum reach. For instance, the NC-B 6-62 model exhibited at Bauma Conexpo India offers a maximum load bearing capacity of 6 tonnes and a maximum reach of 62.50m.

Mobile Crane LTM 1250-5.1

The Liebherr mobile crane LTM 1250-5.1, which is on display in Delhi is the most powerful mobile crane on 5 axles on the market. It is the third crane model on which Liebherr uses its innovative single-engine concept. In addition to a multi-functional folding jib, a 50m fixed jib is also available. The Liebherr innovations VarioBase® and ECOmode mean that crane operators can use the new LTM 1250-5.1 with even more safety and efficiency.

The LTM 1250-5.1 is the successor to the global success model LTM 1220-5.2. In the development of the new crane Liebherr followed the concept of achieving maximum load capacity from the available weight of a 5-axle mobile crane. The result is that the LTM 1250-5.1 is the most powerful crane in its class in the world. Its load capacity has been increased compared to its predecessor by around 15% - 20% whilst the telescopic boom has remained at the same length of 60m. With lattice extensions the maximum hook height has been increased by a massive 9m to 110m.

VarioBallast is a new feature for Liebherr. The LTM 1250-5.1 can be operated with two different ballast radii: 5.58m or 4.78m. Liebherr has designed a solution to adjust the ballast radius particularly quickly and easily. The ballast radius is reduced by 800mm using standard mechanically swivelling ballasting cylinders. This solution is a major benefit of the new 250-tonne model for use in constricted conditions.

Wheel Loader L 550

At the 2016 Bauma Conexpo India, Liebherr is presenting the wheel loaders L 550 and L 580, two models representing the expanded wheel loader product range for the Indian market. Liebherr manufactures these wheel loaders in Dalian, (P. R. China), in close cooperation with the wheel loader competence centre in Bischofshofen (Austria).

The Liebherr wheel loader L 580 on display is driven by a 209kW / 284HP diesel engine. Equipped with a 5m³ excavation bucket with bolt-on teeth, the machine achieves a tipping load of 18,000kg at an operating weight of 24,720kg. The Liebherr wheel loaders are robust standard machines with the familiar high performance and the low operating costs for which Liebherr is well-known. The combination of the hydrostatic travel drive and the special mounting position of the diesel engine enables movement of high load-weighs. Thanks to the robust design the machines are ideal for the most challenging of conditions. The Liebherr wheel loaders offer exceptionally low fuel consumption and require up to 25% less fuel than comparable models from other manufacturers.
