SKV Crane & Rigging has added a Liebherr LR 1800-1.0 to its fleet of crawler cranes. The crane will soon be in the field on upcoming wind projects in Wyoming. “I feel the LR1800 was the best choice for the upcoming projects in our area,” said Stephen Vinot, operations manager of SKV Crane and Rigging. “This is due to its easy mobilization and setup, its infield mobility without a derrick, lower ground bearing pressure and the flexibility to add a derrick and luffing jib for larger projects.”

In one of Liebherr’s first handovers at Conexpo 2020, Maxim Crane Works took delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane during the first day of North America’s construction machinery trade show.

At Conexpo 2020, Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH handed over 22 crawler cranes to its long-standing partner, Bigge Crane and Rigging. The new LR 1300.1 SX now joins the fleet of one of the largest crane rental companies in the world.

Liebherr Components and Stanadyne LLC, US manufacturer of components for diesel common rail systems, enter a strategic cooperation for the global development and production of Common Rail Systems for the On- and Off-highway market.

At Conexpo 2020 in Las Vegas, Liebherr presents its crawler concrete pump THS 110 D-K which features a maximum concrete output of 133 yd³/h (102 m³/h). The six-cylinder engine complies with the Tier 4f emissions standard and therefore complies with current environmental regulations.

With the two material handling machines LH 30 M Industry Litronic and LH 60 M Industry Litronic, Liebherr is presenting two models specifically designed for scrap handling at Conexpo-Con/Agg 2020. The handling of scrap steel metal and other metals is one of the toughest applications in industrial material handling. Especially when loading and unloading trucks and ships, loading shredder conveyors or sorting out different kinds of metals, robust, reliable, high-performance and also economical material handlers are required.

Liebherr is presenting the new A 922 Rail Litronic at the Conexpo Con/Agg 2020 trade show. The new machine is available in both the Final Tier 4 and Stage IIIA (compliant) exhaust emissions standards. Because it is a railroad machine, the A 922 Rail is suitable for use on railway tracks and for road construction and is fast thanks to the mobile undercarriage. A rail travel drive is mounted on both sides of the undercarriage. When entering the rails, the rail travel drive lifts the tires to rail height. The inside wheels of the dual tires ensure travel of the excavator on the tracks.

At this year’s Conexpo Liebherr Werk Nenzing GmbH presents the LR 1300 SX of the new generation. The crawler crane impresses with many innovative assistance systems, which both increase operational safety as well as simplify handling. The elegant new cabin design has many features for high operator comfort

Universally applicable, it excels with an elegant design and intuitive assistance systems. Prior to its first public appearance at Conexpo, a number of machines are already successfully working on jobsites: we are talking about the new model of the LRB 355 piling and drilling rig.

A higher torque, a wider range of applications and useful assistance systems for improved operator comfort and increased safety in one elegant design: Liebherr presents the LB 45, successor to the proven drilling rig LB 36.

The HS 8200 is one of the innovations in the HS series. The design of the duty cycle crawler crane is based on its predecessor, the proven HS 895 HD, but boasts an even better performance capacity. The elegant design combines safety, performance and economy, as well as a high level of operator comfort.

Liebherr presents the 340 EC-B of its newest Flat-Top series at Conexpo Con/Agg 2020 in Las Vegas. Three of the eight units are equipped with fibre rope and therefore have ‘fibre’ added to their product title. Fibre rope’s service life is four times longer than steel rope and it enables fibre cranes to work with a significantly higher load capacity. In addition, handling is noticeably easier compared to steel rope.

Liebherr will present four wheel loaders to the trade audience at Conexpo. These include an L 566 XPower® which is equipped with numerous new assistance systems. Liebherr will exhibit these assistance systems for wheel loaders for the first time at a trade fair in North America. These include active personnel detection, adaptive working lighting, the integrated tire pressure monitoring system and the weighing system with Truck Payload Assist. The L 566 XPower® also has the new joystick steering for wheel loaders.

In the last year, Liebherr has launched seven crawler excavator models under 55 US tons (50 tonnes). Generation 8 machines have even greater power, higher productivity and more comfort for the operator. The new R 926 and R 938 models are being featured at Conexpo. Like all new generation 8 models, these Liebherr crawler excavators, launched in 2019, boast numerous improvements.

At Conexpo 2020, Liebherr introduces its generation 8 crawler dozers with the new PR 736 G8. Equipped with many new developments for even more operator comfort, excellent grading characteristics and the new standard grading systems, the PR 736 G8 is a do-it-all machine for grading and mining use.

Liebherr and Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, will enter into a strategic partnership in the field of machine control solutions. In future, Liebherr wheeled and crawler excavators of generations 6 and 8 can be optionally equipped from factory with 2D and 3D machine control solutions.

Liebherr will be unveiling its new LTM 1120-4.1 at the CONEXPO in Las Vegas using the slogan “There’s nothing more on 4!” It is the most powerful 4-axle all-terrain crane ever built. The new 135 US ton (120 t) machine breaks into a performance class which has previously been the sole preserve of 5-axle cranes. As far as boom length is concerned, it is on a par with 240 US-ton (200 t) class cranes as its 217 ft (66 m) telescopic boom is the longest ever to be installed on a 4-axle mobile crane. Liebherr will start deliveries of the new LTM 1120-4.1 in autumn 2020.
