The new LPI gearbox series

The new LPI gearbox series is ideal for applications, in where little installation space is given but maximum power transmission is required. Particularly in this area, the new LPI gearboxes boast a 20% higher power density, smaller dimensions and less weight.

LPI gearboxes cover a torque range from 177,000 lbf in - 2,964,999 lbf in (20,000 Nm - 335,000 Nm) and are easily adaptable to any application. So far, they have proven themselves as driving and lifting applications.

Diesel engine D976

The new D976 is currenty Liebherr’s biggest and most powerful 6-cyliner-in-line engine. It features a displacement of 18 liter and a performance range of 469 to 831 hp in its standard version. The peak torque is an impressive 2,692 lb-ft at 1,500 rpm.

Like all Liebherr diesel engines, the new D976 fulfils the requirements of off-road applications, making it suitable for construction machinery and cranes. The design is based on tried and tested modular engine components and aftertreatment.

Optimized installation

Medium pressure pump LH30VO

At Conexpo 2020, Liebherr presents size 85 (5.2 in³) of the series 20 of its popular LH30VO medium pressure pump. This series is characterized by an optimized installation possibility to power take-offs as well as a modular range of controls.

The pump's highly flexible through-drive concept proves itself even when it is built in an application. The LH30VO product family is, therefore, optimized for use in mobile and stationary applications. There it is powering, for example, the equipment, ventilation systems or steering of the machines and can also be used in power unit construction.

Reliable under the harshest conditions

Axial piston double motor DMVA D 165-165

The highly reliable DMVA double motor family was developed in swashplate design for the open and closed loop. It is available in nominal sizes ranging from 10.07-6.59 in³ (165-108 cm³) to 13.12-10.07 in³ (215-165 cm³) and can operate at a nominal pressure of 6527 psi and a maximum pressure of 7252 psi.

The double motor features two separately or parallelly adjustable rotary groups and a common port plate to simplify piping installation. The motor was developed to ensure high reliability and a long service life under the harshest environmental conditions.

High efficiency and power density

Axial piston pump DPVG 140

At Conexpo, you will also be able to discover the Liebherr axial piston pump family DPVG, which was developed for the closed loop.Thanks to its hydrostatic swashplate design, the variable displacement pump DPVG 140 (8.5 in³) impresses with its high reliability, as well as its long service life even under the toughest conditions. Furthermore, the inverted piston design with a 22° swivel angle ensures high efficiency and high power density.
