For our global eDevelopment we are looking for a Senior Java Engineer (m/f/d) at our location in Ulm.
Responsibilities
- Implement cloud services
- Define together with team members (m/f/d) architecture of distributed systems
- Develop in an agile (Scrum/Kanban) team cloud-based products and services
- Ensure interoperability
- Release and configuration management
- Support of continuous deployment and test automation
- Support Go Live
Competencies
- M.S. Computer Science, Engineering
- At least 7 years’ experience in Java development
- Strong experience in development of distributed software
- Expert knowledge in cloud frameworks (Azure, AWS, Container, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code
- You are familiar with storage technologies (SQL DB, NoSQL DB, Data Lake, etc.)
- Experience with continuous integration and DevOps
- Knowledge with Clean Code, Peer Review and Pair Programming
- Ability to speak, understand and write German and English fluently
