Responsibilities

The Sales & Contract Administrator supports the efforts of Liebherr USA’s sales teams by performing the following duties:

Responds to Requests for Quotes (RFQ’s) related to the supply of Liebherr’s mining products. Coordinates activities required for the development of RFQ responses.

Responds to RFQ’s related to the long term support of Liebherr’s mining equipment in the form of Maintenance and Repair Contacts (MARC), which guarantee operating costs and

performance over the useful life of the product.

Requests labor and supply quotations from key suppliers to support Liebherr’s MARC, cost cap, and commercial proposals.

Reviews and negotiates terms and conditions of proposals received from key suppliers in support of RFQ’s and MARC’s.

Assists with the administration of existing contracts including the monthly calculation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to determine compliance with contractual obligations.

Assists with the development of Authorization To Manufacture (ATMs), which define the equipment specifications that fulfill customer requirements.

Assists with the development, review, and negotiations involved in purchase and MARC contracts.

Analyzes price proposals, specifications, and other forms of data to determine major cost benefits, impacts, and overall accuracy in pricing.

Assists with maintaining key documents such as the Price List, Project List, Sales Forecast, standard offer forms, and performance guarantee documents.

Assists the Sales Administration and Quality Assurance departments with implementation activities involving ISO 9001.

Collects and maintains competitive pricing data and product information on all major competitors.

Use market intelligence to assist in the creation and implementation of a growth plan to increase market share. Enter all customer contacts into the CRM database.

Assists with market research and activity, and distribute within the Sales Team.

Assists with the communication with customer and dealers on the status of orders.

Assists with checking and approving orders for accuracy.

Answers Sales, Dealer and Factory inquiries.

Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University in a Business related discipline with two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Interface with and travel to customer or supplier sites either nationally and internationally up to 20% of the time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain valid driver’s license and passport.
