At the customer days attended by about 3,000 visitors in June, mobile and crawler cranes from Liebherr-Werk Ehingen once again demonstrated their ability to handle the heaviest loads.
Guests from many countries saw Liebherr’s mobile cranes put on an exciting display, including impressive innovations such as semi-automatic erection of the luffing jib, VarioBase and VarioBallast.
The LTM 1250-5.1 is currently the most powerful 5-axle crane on the market, and is noted for its safety and efficiency. It’s the third crane model to make use of Liebherr’s innovative single-engine driveline principle. Customers were evidently convinced: numerous orders were placed.
This completely redeveloped crawler crane offers the load capacity of a 500-tonne crawler crane whilst upholding the standard dimensions and component weights of the 400-tonne class. It can be transported economically around the world, and every aspect of its design has been chosen for simplicity and high efficiency. One customer said spontaneously: “I’m taking two units of these right away!”
Spectacular choreography: the drivers of these Liebherr crawler cranes performed this mega-lift with perfectly synchronized movements. Spectators at the scene and all over the world were greatly impressed: the show was recorded live for the web.
A very special eye-catcher: the larger-than-life rotating ‘M sculpture’ with two LTM 1750-9.1 mobile cranes.
As a dramatic conclusion there was a musical firework display with a laser show.
