An LR 1300 with super lift equipment and an LR 1160 crawler crane will strengthen the fleet of Viking Cranes.

The Tallinn-based company with branch offices throughout the Baltic States and Scandinavia has signed the contract at the occasion of the customer days of Liebherr Nenzing mid-April 2015. Both cranes will be delivered to the customer until the mid of June 2015.

Its first field of operation is at the Estonian port of Paldiski, where it will be used for several heavy lifting tasks.

The second sold Liebherr crawler crane is the LR 1160 with a lifting capacity of 160 tonnes. Its first jobsite will be in Kiruna in the North of Sweden. The LR 1160 will be used at an iron-ore mine. Viking Cranes bought the crawler crane with a main boom of 58 m and a luffing jib of 44 m.
