On June 15, 2015, Brigitte Zypries, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, visited Liebherr-Aerospace’s stand at this year’s Paris Air Show. Dr. h.c. Willi Liebherr, Jan Liebherr and the Managing Directors of Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH, Josef Gropper, Heiko Lütjens and Arndt Schoenemann welcomed Zypries. In her role, the Parliamentary State Secretary is in charge of aerospace and IT. After presenting the nose landing gear for the Airbus 350XWB and other exhibits displayed at the stand, the hosts also showed Brigitte Zypries an interactive animation to explain her Liebherr’s systems and how they function on board an aircraft.

Paris Air Show, which is held in Le Bourget close to Paris (France), takes place for the 51st time this year. It is one of the biggest and most important trade shows of the aerospace industry worldwide. About 2,200 exhibitors ‒ aircraft manufacturers, suppliers, airlines and other aircraft operators ‒ are taking part in this year’s show, where the latest technological innovations are being showcased.
