Liebherr Group operations in Brazil began in 1974 with establishment of Liebherr Brasil Ltda. in Guaratinguetá in the State of São Paulo.
Since 2005 Liebherr Aerospace Brasil Eireli has been manufacturing aerospace high-tech products. Due to the state-of-the-art technologies applied in machining and surface treatment, these components conform to the latest environmental protection requirements for air traffic. They are in use in numerous aircraft programs - in Brazilian aircraft as well as in aircraft made by international manufacturers. Liebherr Aerospace Brasil Eireli employs a total workforce of 270 employees in its production, design, procurement, quality control and administration departments.
