Hand in hand: Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 and LTM 1450-8.1 mobile cranes master complex bridge renovation project

Due to damage to the Hammesberg Wupper Bridge in Wuppertal Heckinghausen, built in 1965, it is now being replaced by a new bridge. After dismantling the old structure, two large Liebherr mobile cranes – an LTM 1650-8.1 from Autokrane Schares GmbH and an LTM 1450-8.1 from Dornseiff Autokrane & Schwertransporte GmbH – lifted eight 85-tonne precast concrete elements onto the abutments over the Wupper. Liebherr-Aerospace enlarges industrial capabilities by the acquisition of SIBI SAS

Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS has acquired the activities of SIBI SAS, a subsidiary of the Industrial Family Group KEP Technologies. The acquisition of SIBI activities and their integration in the Liebherr Group are effective since December 20, 2023. A new Liebherr legal entity called “Liebherr-Aerospace Montauban SAS” has been created and all SIBI SAS employees were taken over. Find out more

More lifting power, less CO2 – new LTM 1070-4.2 for Bruns in Magdeburg

Bruns Schwerlast GmbH purchased three new Liebherr cranes last year. In addition to an LTR 1100 and an LTM 1050-3.1, an LTM 1070-4.2 was recently added to the crane hire company’s fleet. Equipped with ECOmode and ECOdrive, the latter model is characterised by reduced fuel consumption and lower noise emissions. Find out more

Liebherr-Aerospace and ISAE-SUPAERO invest in industrial chair

Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse and ISAE-SUPAERO strengthen their collaboration by establishing jointly an industrial chair, co-financed by the French National Research Agency. Stützle-Späth GmbH & Co KG has purchased its first mobile crane. An LTM 1110-5.2 now lines up alongside dozens of work platforms, forklifts and loading cranes in its fleet.
