At Intermat 2018, Liebherr is exhibiting the L 550 from the wheel loader series for less emission-regulated markets, which is designed for use in countries outside Europe and North America.
The L 550 is an example of the expanding wheel loader product range from the Liebherr production sites in Dalian, People’s Republic of China. The hydrostatic driveline means that the L 550 is, like all Liebherr wheel loaders, very fuel efficient. It consumes up to 25 per cent less fuel compared to conventional wheel loaders under the same conditions. The optimal weight distribution of the machine increases productivity as larger buckets can be used to handle more material per loading cycle.
The Liebherr L 550 wheel loader on display at Intermat is powered by a 140 kW / 190 HP diesel engine. Its exhaust emissions are below the limits in Stage II / Tier 2. This wheel loader’s optimal weight distribution, combined with a wide range of attachments for different applications, enables businesses to benefit from increased productivity during daily operation. The L 550’s ability to use larger buckets compared to other types of wheel loader in the same class is particularly useful.
Backed by decades of experience in producing and developing wheel loaders and in close cooperation with the wheel loader competence centre in Bischofshofen, Austria, Liebherr now manufactures wheel loaders for the Chinese market at production sites in Dalian, People’s Republic of China. Liebherr’s wheel loaders for the Chinese market are high performing machines. Designed in line with the company’s exacting quality standards, Liebherr wheel loaders operate reliably, even in the toughest conditions.
