Liebherr Colombia SAS was founded in 2011 in Bogotá D.C. as a sales, distribution and service organization for mining equipment and mobile harbour cranes along with a spare parts warehouse and a workshop for reconditioning components of these machines.

The company's operative headquarters are in Barranquilla.

Aside from the head office in Barranquilla, Liebherr Colombia SAS also has a sales and service office in Bogotá since 2012. Located here are the departments directly linked to the infrastructure sector for special deep foundation machines (crawler cranes and rotary drilling rigs) as well as the department for tower cranes and mobile cranes.
