The Secretary and Members of the Shanghai Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (SARI) visited the new facility of Liebherr-Transportation Systems (China) Co., Ltd. in Pinghu and were impressed by the state-of-the-art equipment implemented for the design, engineering, assembly and maintenance of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems for railway vehicles. In addition to the set-up for a highly efficient production flow, Liebherr presented its capabilities regarding comprehensive maintenance, repair and overhaul for future customer projects. The company is eager to accompany its customers throughout the HVAC systems’ and components’ life-cycle with e.g. components health data, which will enable furthermore efficient customer services.

“As an elected Special Council Member of an Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Institute in Shanghai, we are able to contribute even more to the development of environmental-friendly cooling technologies, the related after-market, and thus strengthen our presence in the country. We will be an active market player in the industry under the guidance of the association. SARI was founded in 1985. The association consists of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment-manufacturing enterprises, design institutes, universities and other cooling function-related organizations in China. Up to now, more than 600 cross-regional companies hold memberships in SARI. It is the biggest regional refrigeration industry related production and engineering cluster.
