DUT Génie Mécanique et Productique (field of mechanical engineering)
Graduates with a Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie (DUT) in mechanical engineering are sought after in many branches thanks to their broad training. At Liebherr, three companies in France offer this short two year course of study. Coupled with occupational training, it facilitates additional practical experience.
Not only do DUT graduates have knowledge of mechanical engineering but they are also capable of making and optimizing technical, scientific, commercial and also personal decisions thanks to their occupational training. In this way, they are qualified for almost all areas of business. Areas of employment, for example, could be in aviation, the automotive industry, household appliances, sport and leisure, traffic, environment as well as power engineering.
With their broad knowledge from all production-relevant areas, career starters soon take on responsibility. Here, they focus their attention - in particular - on adhering to the demands of quality, maintenance and safety, and in every phase contribute towards the competitiveness of the company while doing so.
