Responsibilities

  • Define, plan, organize and follow the application and integration activities on machine (calibration, test and validation activities to ensure reliable engine integration) in collaboration with the customer and project leader
  • Ensure the interface with customers and with internal partners for all topics related to engine application and integration
  • Perform, follow and report all tasks like calibration activities on machine, validation of engine and after-treatment behavior, follow-up of field test on machines, follow-up of engine and after-treatment installation check or validation of the final dataset
  • Deliver the application and integration status required for the start of the production and support the customer service in case of issues after serial launch of the application
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement process of the department and support training and development of young engineers and technicians

Requirements

  • Mechanical or electronic engineer (m/f) with strong knowledge in combustion engine control systems, application development and constraints
  • Several years of experience with engine calibration and development on test bench and/or machine
  • Additional knowledge in ECU application software development and engine controls in general is a plus
  • Very good knowledge in written and spoken English, good knowledge in German or French would be highly desirable
  • Very good knowledge with a calibration, diagnostic and validation software (i.e INCA), good knowledge with an analysis software (i.e. CANape/CANalyser), a calibration data management software (i.e. Creta) and a data processing software (i.e. Concerto)
  • High degree of self-responsibility and autonomous working style, customer orientation, good analytical skills and solution-oriented mindest, self-confident and friendly appearance, high flexibility to travel on the job and ability to work on the field with hands-on mentality
