Looking ahead: Kran-Maurer modernises and grows

Kran-Maurer GmbH is modernising its crane fleet. In recent months, the South German company from Göppingen has taken delivery of the Liebherr LTM 1050-3.1, LTM 1090-4.2 and LTM 1110-5.1 mobile cranes. This was followed in March by an LTM 1230-5.1. The delivery of an LTC 1050-3.1 is scheduled for April. An LTM 1300-6.3 has already been ordered from Liebherr, which will further strengthen Kran-Maurer's fleet. Find out more

Biggest order in the history of Saudi Liebherr Co.

This order is making history: the Saudi Arabian company AMHEC has ordered 55 new cranes from Liebherr. It is the largest order that Saudi Liebherr Co. has ever received. Mr. Abdullah Al-Suwaiket, Chief Executive Officer at AMHEC said: “Our company's purchase decision is based on many years of positive experience with mobile cranes from Liebherr. Heavyweight loading begins – two new cranes for Flossdorf

In January, a new Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane, one of the most modern powerhouses on the mobile crane market, rolled into Bad Neuenahr in Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. Its destination: the company Dietmar Flossdorf GmbH & Ko. KG. The new arrival is the second machine of this type that the crane and heavy-duty logistics company has added to its fleet, significantly expanding its capacities. The convoy from Ehingen included the 8-axle crane, the transporters for its complete equipment and the escort vehicles, as well as a brand new LTM 1110-5.2. Flossdorf is thus putting its first crane equipped with the LICCON3 control system into service. Find out more

Wittrock and Ulferts groups order another mobile crane package from Liebherr

Dozens of branches throughout Germany, long-established companies, well-known names in the crane, heavy haulage and work platform industry such as Herrmann & Wittrock, Titschkus & Wittrock, Ulferts, and Ulferts & Wittrock – at the end of last year, this corporate network once again ordered a crane package from Liebherr. Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 installs chiller units against the backdrop of the Frankfurt skyline

Kastor and Pollux are twin towers in Frankfurt am Main. They bear the names of an inseparable pair of brothers from Greek mythology. The two towers form the "Forum" high-rise complex on the Platz der Einheit and are part of the Frankfurt skyline. In mid-January, a crane boom with a length of over 120 metres was added to the silhouette – an LTM 1650-8.1 from crane and heavy haulage contractor Eisele AG replaced chiller units on Kastor. Assembly and removal of the eight-axle crane, as well as all the lifting work, had to be completed over one weekend. Find out more

Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane couples timber modules with reinforced concrete carcass for care home

The Illertissen Caritas Association (illerSENIO) is currently building Germany's largest care home in Vöhringen using a timber-hybrid modular construction. In parallel to the reinforced concrete corpus, 158 completely finished residents' rooms were prefabricated at a specialist timber construction company. A Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane from Schußmann Kranservice GmbH coupled the modules and carcass. Find out more
