Dassault Aviation’s Falcon 8X, which is equipped with Liebherr technology, successfully completed its first flight on February 6, 2015.

Liebherr-Aerospace supplies the engine bleed air pre-cooling system as well as the cabin air humidification system for the long-range, tri-engine executive jet. The systems have been designed and are manufactured by Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France), Liebherr’s center of excellence for air management systems. The systems feature high-reliable, lightweight components based on technologies that build upon Liebherr’s unmatched experience in engine bleed air pre-cooling systems and cabin air humidification systems for business aircraft.

For more than 50 years, Liebherr has been supplying flight critical systems for all of Dassault Aviation’s aircraft, in particular for members of the Falcon business jet family: Falcon 5X, Falcon 7X, Falcon 900, Falcon 2000, and Falcon 50, to mention the most recent additions.
