Four Liebherr Electric Rubber Tyre Gantry Cranes for Italy

Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. is proud to announce the handover of four electric rubber tyre gantry cranes (ERTG) to customers in Italy. One ERTG has been delivered to Salerno Container Terminal (SCT), controlled by Gallozzi Group, while three have been delivered to Consorzio Napoletano Terminal Containers, Naples (Conateco), an MSC company. The cranes were handed over in recent weeks and will make a valuable contribution to the economies of Southern Italy and beyond. Find out more

One heart and one soul: Liebherr’s electric adjustment system for the wind-assisted drive by AYRO

Liebherr is proud to share its collaboration with AYRO, the French industrial start-up that recently successfully equipped the Canopée vessel with four OceanWings®, making it the first hybrid industrial cargo ship powered by wind. With a height of 37 metres and a surface area of 363 m² each, this automated, lowerable and patented vertical wingsail technology will help to reduce CO2 emissions by cutting fossil fuel consumption. Heavyweight loading begins – two new cranes for Flossdorf

In January, a new Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane, one of the most modern powerhouses on the mobile crane market, rolled into Bad Neuenahr in Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. Its destination: the company Dietmar Flossdorf GmbH & Ko. KG. The new arrival is the second machine of this type that the crane and heavy-duty logistics company has added to its fleet, significantly expanding its capacities. The convoy from Ehingen included the 8-axle crane, the transporters for its complete equipment and the escort vehicles, as well as a brand new LTM 1110-5.2. Flossdorf is thus putting its first crane equipped with the LICCON3 control system into service. Find out more

Twelve mobile cranes in operation during the construction of a pipeline in Delft

A dozen strong for the energy transition: twelve mobile cranes with lifting capacities ranging from 90 to 400 tonnes were used to build a pipeline in Delft in the Netherlands. The mobile cranes lifted a pipeline with a total length of one kilometre in order to bring it into the correct position for insertion into the ground. The pipeline is part of the district heating network, which is currently being expanded in order to convert heating systems to sustainable energy sources. Find out more

Wittrock and Ulferts groups order another mobile crane package from Liebherr

Dozens of branches throughout Germany, long-established companies, well-known names in the crane, heavy haulage and work platform industry such as Herrmann & Wittrock, Titschkus & Wittrock, Ulferts, and Ulferts & Wittrock – at the end of last year, this corporate network once again ordered a crane package from Liebherr. Liebherr and J-Air sign major landing gear overhaul agreement

At Singapore Airshow 2024, Liebherr-Aerospace and Japan Airlines signed an agreement covering the overhaul of the landing gear systems of J-Air’s fleet of Embraer E170 / E190 aircraft. This renewal of an existing agreement will further enlarge and strengthen the footprint of Liebherr in the APAC region. Find out more
