Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse (France) was host of the SMR Aircraft – Technical Integration Review Meeting in March 2024. Numerous participants attended, including representatives from EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency), Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking and leaders from various Short Medium Range (SMR) aircraft projects, such as Airbus, Dassault Aviation, the German Aerospace Center (DLR), esploro, Fraunhofer, MTU, ONERA, Rolls-Royce, Safran and Technische Universität Hamburg (TUHH).

Focus was on the architecture, engines, systems, wing architecture as well as fuselage and certification of future aircraft.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen the cooperation with each other and to align and coordinate efforts, progress and innovative technologies.

The partners’ goal is to achieve together the high-level objectives of Clean Aviation for an efficient SMR aircraft and thus a more sustainable future of aviation.
