The focus has always been on the user and function with Liebherr gearboxes. As such, versatile drive variants have been created over the years. The series products from our product portfolio serve as a basis for this. The gearboxes can be made as standalone units or integrated in the adjacent structure.

The WIG 300 cyclone drive is used in stationary concrete mixing plant and power two mixing tools.

Be it in deep foundation machines, concrete mixing systems or large dumper trucks – gearboxes from Liebherr are always application-specific and function-orientated. In this way, customers and users profit from a variety of special drives and types of construction. These are tailored precisely to the respective deployment situation.

The KAT 700 chain drive was especially developed for a tensioner unit in a pipelaying ship. It is distinguished by planetary gearboxes integrated on both sides. The advantages compared with conventional solutions are, among other things, the integrated sprocket wheel as well as a reduced installation space and simple assembly.

From the possible planetary gear, spur gear and angular stage combinations, Liebherr manufactures special gearboxes as individual drive solutions. Here, the quantity and size of the electric or hydraulic motors are as variable as the number of outputs. There are various options for the type of output:

The BAT 180 drilling drive is used in drilling rigs to power the kelly bar. It is connected to two hydraulic motors.

With a view to the customer-specific requirements, Liebherr realises gearboxes either as standalone units or integrates them completely in the adjacent structure. Here, the components of the adjacent structure can also be included in the order, such as with the drilling drive.
