Liebherr in Ireland

As one of the first Liebherr companies outside Germany, Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. was founded in Killarney in southwest Ireland in 1958. The company was initially responsible for the production of tower cranes. It now develops and produces ship-to-shore container cranes, rubber-tired and rail-mounted stacker cranes, and accessories.

To Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd.

In the 1950s, the company founder Hans Liebherr decided to construct his own hotel on an idyllic lakeshore site. This developed into a separate division of the Liebherr Group.

Killarney Hotels Ltd. now operates two 5-star hotels (The Europe Hotel & Resort and The Dunloe Hotel & Gardens) and one 4-star hotel (Ard na Sidhe Country House) in Ireland in the County of Kerry. All three hotels offer their customers luxurious comfort, regional gourmet cuisine and attractive leisure activities.

Founded in 2008 Liebherr-Construction Equipment Ireland Limited is responsible for sales and service of Liebherr construction machines in Ireland. It is located in Rathcoole close to the Irish capital Dublin. The product portfolio includes earthmoving machines, construction cranes, mobile cranes, conveyors and mixing systems.
