LTM 1130-5.1

The LTM 1130-5.1 delivers a combination of power and compact size. The 5-axle crane is very flexible due to its compact dimensions and can be used on constricted sites without any problems. But this does not mean the crane compromises on power. It actually has a long, variable boom system with outstanding lifting capacities in all segments. The optional height-adjustable crane cab on the LTM 1130-5.1 provides an excellent view and therefore enhances safety on site. And it also protects the environment – ECOmode and ECOdrive can achieve fuel savings of up to 10% and significantly reduce noise.

ECOmode minimises both fuel consumption and noise emissions when operating the crane superstructure. The crane operator sets the required working speed using the control lever. The LICCON 2 control system calculates the perfect engine speed for the diesel engine.

ECOdrive makes the mobile crane significantly more comfortable and quieter by reducing the engine speed. Faster gearshifting delivers greater dynamic and traction offroad. On the road, the torque from the Liebherr diesel engine is used efficiently to minimise fuel consumption.

VarioBase makes the crane’s support system variable. It enables each outrigger to be extended to a different length. This enhances safety – particularly in constricted spaces. And what's more, the crane’s lifting capacities are significantly increased, particularly over the outriggers and depending on the configuration.

In the land of the ibex, chamois and marmot:

A new arched dam wall is being built on Lake Grimsel reservoir in the Bernese Mountains at an altitude of 1900 metres. An LTM 1130-5.1 worked its way up the tight hairpin bends to the reservoir to build a container village on a rocky plateau between the two barrages on the glacial reservoir. Find out more

Fangmann adds Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 mobile crane to its fleet:

The new crane is the company's first 5-axle machine. Fangmann decided to buy the Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 due to increased customer demands on the performance of mobile cranes. Find out more
