Responsibility

  • Responsible for maintaining FAA / EASA / CAAC 145 regulations and perform FAR / EASA / CAAC audits as required
  • Maintain FAA Quality Assurance System per FAR Part 21 Manufacturing
  • Maintain quality forms, manuals for FAR Part 145, FAR Part 21, FAR Training Program, EASA 145, CAAC 145, CAAC Training Program, and AS 9110, including all related Forms / Manuals
  • Manage Non Destructive Training Program and related personnel, including required training
  • Perform and or assign internal / external audits / address non-conformities including follow-up and closure pending preventive and corrective action requests
  • Manage Quality Supervisor / Technical Data Administrator / Calibration Administrator / Release to Service Inspectors / NDT Technicians
  • Maintain Responsibility as the Management Representative for AS 9110 / ISO 9001 Quality Systems
  • Preparing organization planning for AS 9110 & ISO systems including internal audits & corrective actions
  • Manage Quality Assurance Auditor (QA) Program and related personnel
  • Conducting periodic management reviews of the quality systems
  • Ensuring that organizational systems and training is in place
  • Preparing organization planning for AS 9110 & ISO system including internal audits & corrective actions
  • Ensuring that documentation and design controls are appropriate for organization
  • Administering document control and configuration management system
  • Assisting the management team and provide quality assurance support as necessary
  • Assumes the responsibility of FAA training program coordinator, per RSM/QM Section III & Section VII

  • In collaboration with the management, staff of LSL’s operations, designs and implements measurable processes and procedures through continuous process improvements that support the company’s interests.
  • Designs and implements agreed-upon and measurable processes and procedures through continuous process improvements that support increased efficiencies in servicing LSL customers.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the quality team.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, quality, or a related field (master’s degree preferred), with 4-6 years of relevant experience working in quality and 2-4 years of experience in a quality leadership position; or 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with AS 9110/ISO 9001/ quality systems, an Airframe and Powerplant License, and working in the aviation/aerospace field is preferred.
  • Occasional overnight/extended travel is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and passport.
