Augers and drilling buckets must be frequently extracted from and emptied beside the borehole when Kelly drilling. Shaking off is done by moving the rotary drive alternately to the left and right.
Shaking off can be carried out manually with alternate left-right movements of the joysticks.
Using the automatic shake-off the emptying process proceeds with the touch of a button.
Depending on the tool and the extracted drilling cuttings the shake-off requires a lot of short or rather fewer long rotating movements
The operator can determine the rotating angle and speed accordingly.
