In addition to electrical machines, switchgears, energy storage units, man-machine interfaces and IoT gateways, Liebherr-Electronics and Drives GmbH also develops and manufactures customised control solutions. The components are used not only in the machines of the Liebherr Group – external customers also appreciate their quality and reliability. Not least because the company's products are distinguished by their robustness as they already have to withstand extreme environmental conditions in the in-house test centre during the development phase. This includes, for example, vibration, salt spray, extreme temperatures or mechanical stress – the ideal preparation for applications in demanding industries such as mining, construction machines, maritime cranes and aerospace.
