TOPKRAN takes delivery of its second LR 1350/1 – Russian company orders a total of four Liebherr crawler cranes

Moscow-based crane hire company TOPKRAN already has 15 Liebherr mobile cranes and ten Liebherr crawler cranes. At the end of July it took delivery of its second LR 1350/1 crane at the manufacturing plant in Ehingen. The new 350-tonne crane is the final machine from a large order for a total of four crawler cranes, all of which have been delivered in the first six months of 2016. Find out more

The Liebherr Group opens a new production site for large diameter bearings in Guaratinguetá (Brazil). The first components will be delivered to local customers of the wind industry in summer 2016. LTC 1050-3.1 enjoys successful market launch

For exactly one year the Liebherr Plant in Ehingen has been delivering the new compact crane, model LTC 1050-3.1. The innovative mobile crane with a lifting capacity of 50 tonnes has proven extremely popular on the market and has positioned itself superbly. Around 60 machines of this type are now operating on building sites around the world. The main new features on this compact all-terrain crane, which is designed for use in industrial buildings and constricted areas, include the VarioBase® variable supporting base developed by Liebherr. But the heavy duty jib, hook traverse and the optional telescoping driver's cabin have also proven to be valuable features in practice. Find out more

Liebherr tower cranes in action erecting the highest building in Europe

A total of ten Liebherr tower cranes owned by rental company Sutek are currently in action for contractor Renaissance Construction, erecting the Lakhta Center in St. Petersburg, Russia. The construction project includes what will be the highest building in Europe, the Lakhta Tower, and an adjoining multi-purpose building. Three 710 HC-L 32/64 Litronic and one 357 HC-L 12/24 Litronic luffing jib cranes are being used for the construction work on the tower. Three 357 HC-L 12/24 Litronic luffing jib cranes and three 280 EC-H 12 Litronic High-Top cranes are in action on the multi-purpose building. Find out more
