Liebherr has been manufacturing cranes with special equipment for professional fire services for over 40 years.

Liebherr is the global market leader in mobile cranes and has an extensive array of expertise for special requirements. Fire service cranes from Liebherr feature modern chassis and powertrain engineering to get them to the deployment site quickly. They can also manoeuvre at very constricted sites due to their compact dimensions. Their long telescopic booms and proven telescoping systems mean that they can quickly reach great heights and radii.

With a full set of equipment and 10 tonnes of ballast, the 4-axle machine can be driven on public roads enabling it to get to where it is needed quickly. The 50-metre telescopic boom enables large heights and radii to be achieved – a big plus in the event of fires in high buildings or in houses which are not directly accessible from a road.

Fire service cranes from Liebherr have proven themselves suitable for a very wide range of jobs. Their areas of use include:

  • Rescuing people
  • Fighting fires
  • Securing vehicles on bridges at risk of falling
  • Raising and repositioning collapsed loads
  • Rescuing and towing broken-down vehicles
  • Clearing fire sites
  • Removing storm damage

Our standard cranes are tailored to the specific requirements of professional fire services with special equipment versions. Special Liebherr accessories for fire service cranes include fire engine horns, reversing cameras, working lights and various pieces of hoisting equipment.
