Liebherr XPower® wheel loaders with power-split driveline tested over 70,000 operating hours

The latest XPower® large wheel loaders with emission Stage IV / Tier 4f represent a milestone in the technological history of Liebherr wheel loaders. Due to the wide range of innovations, such as the power-split driveline installed as standard, Liebherr has subjected its new wheel loader generation to much tougher, more thorough and more extensive testing than ever before. Important main components, such as the innovative XPower® driveline and the larger axles, were found to be particularly durable in testing over 70,000 operating hours. Liebherr and Teufelberger develop a high-strength fibre rope for crane operation

Together with the Austrian rope manufacturer Teufelberger Holding AG, Liebherr is developing a new type of high-strength fibre rope for hoisting operations. This project is based on a systematic cooperative venture between Liebherr engineers from various divisions, including Liebherr-Components Biberach GmbH, as well as the three Liebherr manufacturing plants for tower cranes, mobile and crawler cranes and maritime cranes. New Liebherr R 9200 Mining Excavator to be unveiled at Bauma 2016

At Bauma 2016, Liebherr will unveil its new entry into the 200 tonne excavator class: the R 9200, built to complement the broad Liebherr mining product range. The 12.5m³ bucket is the biggest in its class, and offers sustainable performance while delivering peak fuel burn efficiency, even in the most challenging conditions. Liebherr unveils new L1 series of hydraulic fast-erecting cranes

Liebherr has developed a new series of hydraulic fast-erecting cranes which will be unveiled to Liebherr partners in Europe at an initial premiere event in March 2016. This smallest series of bottom-slewing cranes will bear the type designation L1. Find out more

Medium pressure pump added to Liebherr hydraulic portfolio

Liebherr component division presents at the Bauma 2016 the newly developed LH30VO axial piston pump of swash plate design. The medium pressure pump complements the existing product portfolio in the range of 280 bar nominal pressure and is suited for use in mobile machinery. The pump for all mobile applications with open circulation has a specific delivery rate of 45cm³ per rotation and is already available with two of the most common controls. Find out more
