Herbold takes delivery of new Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 mobile crane

"Herbold makes heavy loads light" is the slogan used by family-run company Rolf Herbold GmbH based in Öhringen, the largest town in the District of Hohenlohe in Germany. Herbold only uses Liebherr mobile cranes. The company recently took delivery of a new LTM 1070-4.2 to replace a 14-year-old LTM 1060/2. Find out more

Wasel returns damaged container bridge to operation with Liebherr mobile and crawler cranes

The container bridge on the River Rhine near Dormagen which suffered damage in storms in June 2014 has been repaired. Heavy load logistics contractor Wasel repositioned the portal crane, which measures over 100 metres in length. The demanding job took a total of two days. Five Liebherr cranes were used for the job. Fangmann adds Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 mobile crane to its fleet

Fangmann Industrie GmbH Co. KG took delivery of an LTM 1130-5.1 mobile crane at the Liebherr plant in Ehingen at the end of February. The 130-tonner on its five-axle chassis will extend and strengthen the company's fleet which previously only included mobile cranes with a load capacity of up to 100 tonnes. Find out more

Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 hoists symbolic "M" on to one of the highest residential buildings in the Netherlands

The second-highest residential building in the Netherlands is 132 metres high and is located in Rotterdam. There is an 8-metre high letter on its roof. The "M" stands for "Montevideo", the name of the building. A Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 mobile crane from crane contractor Van Marwijk Kraanverhuur B.V. hoisted the newly restored symbol on to the roof of the building in February. The total height including the "M" was 147 metres. Find out more

LR 1750/2 offers increased load capacities - Upgrade for 750-tonne crawler crane from Liebherr

Liebherr has modified its LR 1750 crawler crane with the upgraded 750-tonne LR 1750/2 model now available. By strengthening the main boom and adjusting the derrick system the crane's load capacity has been increased in some areas by up to 30%. This means that the crane offers much better value for money. Upgrade with PowerBoom – Liebherr LR 11000 crawler crane completes crane job for next higher crane class

Since the last two years the Liebherr plant in Ehingen offers the PowerBoom for its large crawler cranes. The parallel boom which drastically increases load capacities was recently used for the first time on the LR 11000. The latest Liebherr crawler crane in the 1000 tonne class positioned a gigantic machine room on the tower of a wind turbine in Northern Germany. It was a gross load of 220 tonnes.Since the last two years the Liebherr plant in Ehingen offers the PowerBoom for its large crawler cranes. First LTR 1220 telescopic crawler crane in Brazil – Guindastes Tatuapé places its trust in Liebherr

The versatile telescopic crawler cranes built by Liebherr are delighting Brazilian company Guindastes Tatuapé. An LTR 1220 crane was delivered to Tatuapé in the middle of this year. It is the first crane of this type in Brazil and since then it has worked on a wide variety of sites – from football stadiums and factories to ports and railway tracks. New flagship at Kran Saller: Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 in wind farm

By investing in an LTM 1750-9.1 from Liebherr Kran Saller based in Deggendorf has massively boosted its crane fleet. The new flagship with a maximum load capacity of 750 tonnes was delivered in July. The large crane was recently used at Berngerode wind farm where it erected concrete towers up to 89 metres high for twelve wind turbines. Find out more
