On February 14, 2020 the all-new business jet G700™ manufactured by Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation took off for its first flight and landed safely after two and a half hours at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, Georgia (USA).

Liebherr supplies the pneumatic component package for the Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines of the aircraft. The lightweight, high-reliability pneumatic valves and the actuation devices that control pneumatic power around the engine have been designed, are manufactured and serviced by Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse, Liebherr’s center of competence for air management systems.

According to Gulfstream, the G700 can fly at its high-speed cruise of Mach 0.90 for 11,853 km (6,400 nautical miles), which equals a route for example from London to Cape Town or at its long-range cruise of Mach 0.85 for 13,890 km (7,500 nautical miles), e.g. from London to Buenos Aires.

The Entry-into-Service is expected during 2022.
