News | 04/13/2019 Delegation from Ehingen visits Liebherr at Bauma

On Friday, a delegation from Ehingen in Baden-Württemberg visited Bauma. The representatives from politics and the media were particularly interested in the trade fair appearances of the companies based locally in Ehingen and obtained information about their products and innovations. The Liebherr booth with its mobile cranes from the Ehingen site was the first port of call during the tour.

On Friday, Sophie Albrecht, member of the administrative board of Liebherr-International AG, as well as the Managing Directors of Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH, welcomed the District Administrator of the Alb-Donau district Heiner Scheffold, the Mayor of Ehingen Alexander Baumann, as well as the CDU Secretary General in the Baden-Württemberg Parliament Manuel Hagel, at the Liebherr booth.

With their visit the delegation showed their commitment and appreciation for the strong company rooted in this region. Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH, which was founded in 1969, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of mobile cranes. The portfolio includes telescopic and lattice boom cranes on wheeled and crawler chassis.

Impressive exhibits from Ehingen can be found at Bauma within the 14,000 square metre outdoor Liebherr booth, particularly in the mobile cranes area, which takes up roughly a quarter of the stand area: The heaviest and largest construction machine at Bauma is the LR 1800-1.0 crawler crane. It weighs up to 660 tonnes and lifts loads up to 800 tonnes.
