Embraer's latest super-midsize business jet, the Praetor 600, was certified by FAA and EASA in May 2019 after certification by the Brazilian Civil Aviation Authority ANAC the month before. Liebherr-Aerospace is responsible for the fuel tank depressurization valve of the additional fuel tank system which increases the aircraft`s ability to fly 4,018 nautical miles (7,441 km).

The Praetor 600’s new fuel system was engineered by Embraer to meet the highest regulatory requirements, thus significantly reducing fuel flammability. The valve, an integral component of Embraer’s new fuel system, has been developed and manufactured by Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France), Liebherr’s center of excellence for air management systems.

Thanks to the additional fuel capacities, the Praetor is capable of doing intercontinental non-stop flights as from London to New York, São Paulo to Miami, or Dubai to London. The aircraft is thus the farthest-flying super-midsize business jet in the world.
