Around 8,000 people visited the production subsidiary Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. in the south-west of Ireland last weekend. On Saturday, current and former employees and their families enjoyed a colourful programme of events. On Sunday, everybody who was interested was able to view the factory premises, take part in guided tours and find out about the products manufactured at Killarney and about the entire Liebherr Group.

Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. at the Killarney location produces ship-to-shore container cranes, rubber tyre gantry and rail-mounted stacking cranes, straddle carriers and equipment. The company was founded by Hans Liebherr in 1958 and was the company's first production site outside Germany.
