Liebherr-Hausgeräte Ochsenhausen GmbH was founded in 1954. The company has been developing and producing an extensive product range of excellent refrigerators and freezers for over 60 years.
In focus: Optimization of energy consumption
The central focal point of Liebherr-Hausgeräte Ochsenhausen GmbH is the consistent optimization of energy consumption. Thus work in development and production over the entire process chain is carried out by incorporating environmental aspects. The highest value is placed on high-quality components and their long service lives in the design of refrigerators and freezers. All plastics are optimally suited for recycling. The production processes in the plant are also oriented on efficient utilization of resources.

Examination of refrigerators and freezers in the laboratory
High-quality free-standing refrigerators, combined refrigerators and freezers, freezers, as well as built-in appliances for private use are produced at the Ochsenhausen plant. The focus on design and realization of new Liebherr appliances has been on energy efficiency for many years. The most important innovations include the key technologies of "BioFresh" and "NoFrost".
BioFresh keeps foodstuffs fresh for longer
With BioFresh foodstuffs can be stored in optimal climatic conditions for a long period. Fruit and vegetables, as well as meat, fish, and dairy products find a perfect storage place and remain fresh for longer at a temperature of just over 0° and with the ideal air humidity.
NoFrost does away with defrosting
Since 1987 Liebherr has been equipping its freezers with NoFrost technology. The foodstuffs are frozen by cooled circulating air and the humid air is drawn off. As a result, the freezing compartment remains ice-free and the appliances no longer have to be defrosted.
