Looking ahead: Kran-Maurer modernises and grows

Kran-Maurer GmbH is modernising its crane fleet. In recent months, the South German company from Göppingen has taken delivery of the Liebherr LTM 1050-3.1, LTM 1090-4.2 and LTM 1110-5.1 mobile cranes. This was followed in March by an LTM 1230-5.1. The delivery of an LTC 1050-3.1 is scheduled for April. An LTM 1300-6.3 has already been ordered from Liebherr, which will further strengthen Kran-Maurer's fleet. Find out more

LTM 1230-5.1 – Deployed in the Port of Oslo

Norway is considered a pioneer throughout Europe in terms of the transformation towards the use of renewable energy. The waters in the capital's huge port have been cleaned using an electrically powered ship for many years. For its winter inspection, a Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 mobile crane from crane service provider Nordic Crane Kynningsrud AS lifted the cleaning ship “Pelikan II” out of the water. Oslo is also a hotspot for electrically powered Liebherr cranes – nine LTC 1050-3.1E compact cranes are already in use in the metropolis. Find out more

Marcor Stevedoring receives new LHM 800

The new LHM 800 fits into the strategic growth of the terminal’s expansion, with its focus on more sustainable operations by using more renewable energy and cleaner drive concepts. A second LHM 800 has also been ordered and is scheduled to be shipped to Marcor later this year. The Hartel Terminal has a 130,000 m² terminal and a 600-metre quay with a 16-metre draft alongside. It has vessel handling options from barges up to 120,000 DWT baby-cape vessels, both for board-to-board transshipment and discharge to/from the terminal. Find out more

Biggest order in the history of Saudi Liebherr Co.

This order is making history: the Saudi Arabian company AMHEC has ordered 55 new cranes from Liebherr. It is the largest order that Saudi Liebherr Co. has ever received. Four Liebherr Electric Rubber Tyre Gantry Cranes for Italy

Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. is proud to announce the handover of four electric rubber tyre gantry cranes (ERTG) to customers in Italy. One ERTG has been delivered to Salerno Container Terminal (SCT), controlled by Gallozzi Group, while three have been delivered to Consorzio Napoletano Terminal Containers, Naples (Conateco), an MSC company. The cranes were handed over in recent weeks and will make a valuable contribution to the economies of Southern Italy and beyond. Find out more

One heart and one soul: Liebherr’s electric adjustment system for the wind-assisted drive by AYRO

Liebherr is proud to share its collaboration with AYRO, the French industrial start-up that recently successfully equipped the Canopée vessel with four OceanWings®, making it the first hybrid industrial cargo ship powered by wind.
