News | 04/08/2019 Crane company Riga Mainz: Liebherr hands over LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane

Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH handed over its first machine to a customer on Monday afternoon. The black and gold-coloured LTM 1650-8.1. mobile crane was symbolically handed over to the crane company Riga Mainz who is based in the Rhine-Main region.

The LTM 1650-8.1 is available in two versions: The telescopic boom option with 54 metres or 80 metres. It is the successor to the successful LTM 1500-8.1 model, however with greater flexibility and load capacity. The mobile crane on eight axles complies with the new exhaust emissions standard Stage V with its eight-cylinder Liebherr diesel engine. The engine is also produced as a component by Liebherr. The crane can also be built for countries outside Europe in accordance with the applicable guidelines.

During the formal machine handover, Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH presented a large key to the company owner Uwe Langer of Riga Mainz and his sons Tim and Kai Langer, as well as numerous employees.

As one of the largest crane companies in the Rhine-Main region, Riga Mainz is specialises in lifting, moving and transporting. The company also carries out heavy-duty transport, as well as industrial assemblies, machine relocations and cleanroom assemblies.
