The Components division of the Liebherr Group presents its individual components and system solutions for drive, control and regulation technology at the SPS IPC Drives 2016 in Nuremberg,Germany.

Among these are electronic modules and components for mobile machinery and industrial applications. The field-proven units are suitable not only for agricultural and construction machines but also for commercial vehicles, special machines and transportation systems. Liebherr develops advanced solutions for the areas of power and control electronics, human-machine interfaces, telematics, sensor technology and driver assistance systems. Components by Liebherr are well suited for applications, which require functional safety.

One of the highlights at the exhibition are the new developments from the power and control electronics portfolio. The current product range comprises, for example, frequency converter systems, power modules, energy storage systems, DC/DC actuators, control cabinets and individual solutions for different applications. Thereby, Liebherr customers can choose between separate components or a complete drive and control system ready for operation. The respective services like development, project planning, construction, programming, control cabinet construction and commissioning can be flexibly chosen by customers in accordance with their requirements.

With the exhibited rope winch control cabinet, Liebherr presents itself also in this area as a provider of solutions focusing on functionality, reliability, safety and integration.

Electric motors and alternators complement the range of products by Liebherr. The electric machines are employed, among others, in mobile, semi-mobile as well as stationary applications, and can be fitted with relevant power electronics and switchgear to supplement an electric drive system. The Liebherr exhibition team also exemplifies customised motors at its booth 401 in hall 3A. They are characterised by particularly high speed capacity and power density as well as a wide adjustment range. Therefore, these motors are also used amongst other things as an electric drive alternative to hydraulic motors.

All components and systems are designed to be particularly hard-wearing and withstand even extreme environmental influences, such as large temperature fluctuations, vibrations, impacts and dust. Development, production and service are based on project-specific and individual customer requirements. In this way, Liebherr offers individual electronic solutions and guarantees its customers a future-proof partnership.
