Industrial mechanic

Depending on the focus of training, their tasks can involve the assembly and commissioning of equipment, machines or complete production facilities. In addition, they check production facilities regularly and deal with maintenance so that malfunctions can be identified quickly and defective parts can be repaired. If necessary, they operate the facilities themselves and control the production routines.

Period of training: 3.5 years
Prerequisite: Good grades from secondary school; preferably intermediate-level education
