Liebherr in Russia

Russia is one of Liebherr's largest sales markets. Since 1965 the Group has been operating successfully here. Hans Liebherr, the company founder, repeatedly stressed his close association with Russia and its peoples. After the Second World War, he was one of the first German entrepreneurs to establish relationships to the then Soviet Union. Today, Liebherr operates two production companies and one sales and service company in Russia with subsidiaries in all of Russia's regions.

Since it was founded in 2000, Liebherr-Russland OOO has been supporting the Group's sales activities on the Russian market. The Moscow company has grown strongly in recent years and now operates subsidiaries in all the major regions of the Russian Federation. It therefore maintains, for instance, repair and service centers in Kuzbass, Moscow and Khabarovsk. The company delivers reliable customer services in even the most remote regions.

Liebherr-Nizhny Novgorod OOO founded in 2006 commenced operations at the production sites in Dzerzhinsk near Nischni Nowgorod in 2011. The company manufactures steel assemblies for earthmoving equipment and delivers products to four European Liebherr plants for earthmoving machines in Germany, France and Austria.
