Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France), has delivered the first set of bleed air system components for the engine flight test bed of the Global 7000* and Global 8000* aircraft program, Bombardier’s latest ultra long-range business jets. The testing activities will be performed on GE Aviation Passport engine.

The aircraft manufacturer headquartered in Montreal (Canada) had selected Liebherr’s center of excellence for air management systems to develop and supply the bleed air, the cabin pressure control, the air-conditioning, the wing anti-ice and the fuel tank inerting air preparation systems. Thanks to these next-generation technologies, the Global 7000 and Global 8000 aircraft will feature unparalleled comfort for passengers and the crew.

The qualification tests are currently performed at Liebherr-Aerospace’s test center in Toulouse.
