Benoit Wirth’s enthusiasm and passion for Liebherr have been around him since birth

His father works for Liebherr-France SAS, and a childhood fascination with construction machines made him a Liebherr fan from an early age. Now, as a trainee at Liebherr, he can put his enthusiasm for technology into practice in his career. What counts most for Benoit is doing a job he enjoys and the many opportunities that an international company like Liebherr gives him.

Today my job gives me as much pleasure as it did on the very first day.

Benoit Wirth’s enthusiasm and passion for Liebherr have been around him since birth. In this video, he gives an insight into his unique apprenticeship at Liebherr in Colmar. What it is, that makes his time at Liebherr unique? ‘It is the mix of international presence, cutting-edge technologies and yet the all-time pleasant working atmosphere!’

“I fulfilled my childhood dream with my apprenticeship at Liebherr. When I was little, I sat on many agricultural and earthmoving machines – my passion started then. It is still strong today. I share this passion with my father because he has already been working for ten years at Liebherr-France SAS. I am also impressed because my apprenticeship was so much fun. I fondly remember one project in particular: The restoration of an R 911 B hydraulic excavator that I restored together with two other apprentices. It was a really old machine built in 1971. Today it is on show at Liebherr-France SAS and I am quite proud of that! In the course of the project I learned a great deal and acquired many additional skills.

In fact you never stop learning or training here. It is obvious that the development opportunities of its staff and apprentices are important to Liebherr. For me Liebherr is the ideal partner – both from a professional and a personal point of view. International presence, cutting-edge technologies and yet, a friendly and pleasant work atmosphere.”
