Visitors to the Liebherr RoadShow could also find out about components of construction machines. Among these are Liebherr diesel engines, Liebherr particulate filters, Liebherr oil and grease, GPS and laser controls or even LiDAT, the Liebherr data transmission and positioning system for construction machines. At the RoadShow 2015, Liebherr also presented the range of Liebherr rental services and the manufacturer's used equipment offer. The four stations had been selected to ensure easy accessibility and short travelling times. Another station was Bratčice by Brunn in the Czech Republic. All RoadShow locations could be reached quickly from the neighbouring countries Switzerland, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy.
Within the framework of the Liebherr RoadShow, Mercedes-Benz debuted the selectable “Hydraulic Auxiliary Drive” system – or HAD for short – which makes additional traction available at the front axle of Arocs tipper semi-trailer machines. As another highlight, Mercedes-Benz presented the turbo retarder clutch. The innovative system with a filling-regulated, hydrodynamic clutch combines the functions “wear-free drive-off” and “wear-free braking and manoeuvring” in one element. Both systems could be taken for test runs in various Arocs models. Mercedes-Benz presence was enhanced by the new generation of Unimog as well as the new Mercedes-Benz Vito line-up as panel vans and tourers.
Visitors to the Liebherr RoadShow 2015 could test GPS and laser controls as well as the Loadrite excavators from Trimble in connection with Liebherr construction machines.
