On June 17, 2019, President Emmanuel Macron visited Paris Air Show 2019 and made a tour through the exhibitions halls. While passing by the Liebherr stand in order to meet and greet high-ranking representatives at the German Pavilion, President Macron surprised the Liebherr stand team members in taking his time to shake hands with them.

As part of his official tour, he then visited the German Pavilion where he met representatives of the German aviation industry and exchanged a few words with Dr. h.c. Willi Liebherr.

During the Paris Air Show, which took place from 17 to 23 June, leading German politicians and industry representatives discussed with French leaders how German-French cooperation in the aerospace industry can be further deepened.

Leading fair for Liebherr’s Aerospace division

Liebherr-Aerospace seized the opportunity to meet face to face with industry leaders, experts, and enthusiasts. The venue is perfect to showcase its products and share its industry knowhow, as well as forge new relationships and nurture existing ones.

Liebherr also presented the job of a mechanical assembler in the “Avion des Métiers”, a platform organized by the French Aerospace Industries Association (GIFAS) to raise awareness and promote careers in the Aviation sector, as they anticipate 15,000 new jobs that will need to be filled in this sector in France this year.
