Equipment dispatch, installation and commissioning at customer location
We offer customer-specific delivery and installation services right up to commissioning of the crane.
The dispatch of maritime equipment is usually by sea. The common means of transport is ship or barge, via which the equipment is sent either partially or completely assembled. Thanks to a direct link to the sea, our maritime production facilities are well set-up.
From Europe to anywhere in the world
We organise transportation of your cranes so that they reach their target destination quickly and safely.
From the factory straight onto the ship
The direct sea link of our production facilities in Rostock simplifies loading of this LPS 600 gantry crane.
Transportation at full-size
Delivery of this mobile harbour crane in completely assembled state saves time with commissioning.
Arrival at the customer's location
After unloading the completely assembled mobile harbour crane, it is ready for operation straightaway.
It’s all about teamwork
Liebherr service engineers actively work together in order to complete their tasks safely and on time.
Seven on one barge
Our reachstackers are also ready for operation as soon as they arrive. Seen here is a large-scale delivery of seven LRS 645 units.
Qualified fitters ensure that the new material handling equipment is assembled quickly in the harbour area. Seen here is installation of a rubber tyre stacking crane (RTG).
Cranes erecting cranes
For the installation of container bridges (STS), large cranes are used – as can be seen in this case with our existing mobile harbour cranes.
Partially assembled delivery
Shipping of large equipment usually takes place partially assembled. Seen here is the lattice jib of a container bridge.
Assembly and commissioning on-site
Large cranes – such as cship to shore container cranes – are transported as preassembled components and erected on-site. A team of experienced Liebherr fitters is charged with erecting the equipment up to the commissioning stage. Moreover, we offer comprehensive training courses on all technical aspects of the crane during and after installation.
Installation of Ship to Shore Container Cranes

Delivery of ship to shore cranes ex works
