Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France), is currently installing a new surface treatment line to meet future production requirements. The treatment line is coupled with an innovative water treatment plant, which is located in the basement of the production building. This investment reflects Liebherr’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint. In fact, with the new surface treatment line solvents will not be used anymore and will be replaced by detergents. In addition, the consumption of tap water will be reduced by 70 % and no treated water will be discharged into the natural environment.
