By investing in the Liebherr LTM 1400-6.1 mobile crane, BSF Mobile Cranes is responding to the increasing demands of challenging infrastructure, industrial and large-scale construction projects. “The modern 450-tonne crane significantly expands our heavy-lift capacities and enables us to support our customers even more efficiently on projects that require higher lifting capacities and greater reach,” explains Anthony Stoeckert, Director at BSF Mobile Cranes. “As we already have an LTM 1350-6.1, it was a logical next step for us to move up to the next class. The LTM 1400-6.1 has a similar footprint to our 350-tonne crane but offers significantly higher lifting capacities.”
The versatile boom configurations, the economical single-engine concept and Liebherr’s innovative crane technology were decisive factors in the decision. “The reduced setup time when installing the Y-guying system also gives us a decisive advantage, as a fast and efficient operational process is very important for many of our customers,” emphasises Stoeckert. Features such as VarioBallast® and VarioBase®, provide additional benefits for jobs on confined inner-city construction sites.
MK 88-4.1E: Efficient solutions for urban construction sites
The addition of the new MK 88-4.1E marks the introduction of the first mobile construction crane of its type in Australia and allows BSF Mobile Cranes to further expand its range of services. “We always want to offer our customers the best solutions and are seeing increasing demand for lifting solutions on space-constrained construction sites,” reports Stoeckert.
The MK 88-4.1E impressed with its exceptional versatility, rapid deployment capability and ability to work efficiently even in confined conditions. Compact transport dimensions, variable operating modes and strong lifting performance were key criteria in the selection of this model. “The MK 88-4.1E adds a unique solution to our portfolio between conventional mobile cranes and stationary tower cranes,” explains Stoeckert.
